Ecuador 1798 entire letter to Don Antonio Masson at Itanbato (Hanbato?, New Granada) from Pillaco, a fine early Colonial letter; 1830 (8 Dec.) printed "republica de colombia, administracion de correos, alausi" form recording mail from Pasto, sent to Lima without postal markings, a fascinating document, two further pre-stamp entires dated 1839 and 1842, and 1866 (14 Mar.) entire letter from Quito to Riobamba, bearing 1865 1r. blue tied by neat "quito/franca" datestamp in black; adhesive with slight fault in top left corner margin only but a fine early cover. Also Peru 1884 (17 Oct.) envelope to Manchester, bearing by 1883 Triangle overprinted 1c. orange and 1884 (Apr.) provisional "Correos/Lima" 5c. blue pair (scarce on letter) tied by bold Lima datestamps; Manchester arrival on reverse.
