Transvaal 1871 (16 July) envelope from Pretoria to Brussels, Belgium, bearing 1871 (July) Otto 3d. pale reddish lilac (4) in combination with Orange Free State 6d. and Cape of Good Hope 1d., 4d. (8) and 4d. on 6d. (6), some on reverse, cancelled "1" in oval of bars, variously rated and showing circular-framed "PD" in red (tying one of the Transvaal 3d. values), Potchefstroom (18.6), Cape Town (3.8) and London Paid (11.9) c.d.s., all on face, the reverse, which bears the O.F.S. 6d. and seven of the Cape values showing superb despatch c.d.s. and two Belgian c.d.s. (11.9); the reverse less further O.F.S. values and two or three Cape values, and the cover with a few small faults in places though an astonishing triple combination franking to an unusual destination, and only the fourth triple combination cover recorded.
