Four: Lieutenant Colonel C.D.M. Gall, Royal Fusiliers Afghanistan 1878-80, one clasp, Kandahar (Lieut: C.M.D. [sic] Gall. 2/7th Foot.); Egypt 1882-89, undated, one clasp, Suakin 1885 (Capt: C.D.M. Gall. 2/Rl. Fusrs.); Khedive´s Star 1884-6; Royal Humane Society, bronze, successful (Charles Gall, 27, April, 1871.), with top riband buckle, very fine or better (4) Estimate £ 700-800Lieutenant-Colonel Charles David Myres Gall, born 1853; joined as Second Lieutenant 1st Foot, 1873, before transferring to the 7th Foot later that year; Adjutant 30.9.1878-27.2.1885; served in Second Afghan War 1878-80, and took part in the defence of Kandahar, inlcuding the sortie of Deh Khojah and was present at the battle of Kandahar; Captain 1882; Major 1886; Deputy Assistant Adjutant General, Madras, 10.6.1887-31.6.1889; Assistant Adjutant General, Madras, 1.4.1889-19.6.1892; Lieutenant-Colonel 1898.
