Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1894 mourning envelope front, showing superb upright strike of the purple "Saved from the wreck of the wairarapa." h.s., the adhesives washed off; 1937 and 1940 envelopes with "Damaged By sea Water" and "Recovered from the Sea" h.s. respectively, also 1936 ("Athena" at New Dehli) and 1953 ("Comet" at Calcutta) crash covers - the former with official adhesive advice label on reverse, the latter with large purple "Salvaged Mail" h.s.; a fine and attractive group.
