x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1841 (7 July) entire letter from Springfield to Cork, bearing 1840 1d. black, plate VIII, MI, and 1841 1d. red-brown, plate 12, LL, both with margins all round (mostly large to enormous) tied by light strikes of the black Maltese Cross, the reverse with Six Mile Bridge despatch and Limerick transit datestamps of 7 July with cork arrival d.s. of 8 July adjacent - the letter content refers to an enclosure which confirms the double rate postage.
