Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1815 outer wrapper (faults) to Middleton with a neat strike of the crowned double-oval "revenue/paid" h.s. in red (partly covered by arrival ink notation) with a faint despatch c.d.s. and rate mark at right, a very rare mark, this type not recorded by Feldman and Kane; 1819 (3 Apr.) entire letter (horizontal filing crease) to London with a light but crisp strike of the crowned double-oval "excise paid/3ap" in red ( a very early date), partly overstruck by departure and arrival Paid datestamps, and 1829 (27 Feb.) entire letter to London bearing a faint yet sharp strike of the boxed "excise/27 2/1829/paid" in black plus Dublin and London Paid datestamps in red, rated "1/3"; three rare handstamps
