Note: Although better-known for his ivory-handled pistols, General George Patton was also noted for his preference for English riding-boots. He was a long-standing client of Faulkner´s, and three other pairs of boots made for him by this firm are in the Patton Museum at the US Armor Centre, Fort Knox, Kentucky. This pair of boots was presented to Hugh Bullock for display in his museum.
