An Officer´s uniform of the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry A troop officer´s scarlet Full Dress jacket, with white cloth facings, edged all round with silver "Broken Bias" lace and copiously trimmed with silver Russia braid, 20 loops of heavy Russia braid each side in front, with three rows of plain white metal ball/half-ball buttons, silver lace and braid ornamentation to back-seams (9 buttons missing from centre row, lining AF, star missing from one shoulder-cord); together with an officer´s pantaloons of the Lothian and Berwick Yeomanry, with scarlet piping between double scarlet cloth stripes; and a red mess waistcoat, possibly of an Indian cavalry regiment, edged with gold "Vandyke" lace and a row of alternate scrolls and figures-of-eight, the braid forming a large "Christmas tree" each side at top and bottom corners, gilt studs to front (3) See illustration of first two items Estimate £ 350-450
