Bulgaria, Kingdom, National Order of Military Merit, Grand Officer´s neck Badge, with War Decoration laurel leaves, 95mm including crown suspension x 63mm, gilt and enamel, good very fine, with neck riband, in case of issue for Commander´s neck Badge. Estimate £ 140-180The constraints and privations of the First World War, when this award was originally made, meant that often insignia was issued in the incorrect case. It is therefore not unusual to find Second Class insignia in a Third Class case of issue.
