The following eleven lots comprise a small group of silver or white metal medals mainly bearing inscriptions and devices relating to Volunteer units of the late 18th or early 19th Century. Some of these medals may be of mid- to late 19th Century manufacture.
Royal Manx Fencibles A circular white metal medal, 1 7/8in. diameter, the obverse engraved with regimental title and triskele with 2 in the centre, the reverse inscribed WON/BY/John Christian/1799 within a strap inscribed BEST SHOT AT BALL FIRING
