Another example of this medal with the details of the fur on the brim of the hat picked out in a similar manner was sold in the Oppenheimer Collection (Christie´s London 27 July 1936, lot 6). The medal also featured on the front cover of The Art of the Medal by Mark Jones (illustration 53a and b). Jones also illustrates the original drawing for the reverse design (illustration 54)
