Trinidad 1861 (23 June) entire to Paris, bearing 1859 pin-perf. 131/2-14 4d. brownish lilac pair with perforations on three sides and each cancelled and tied by "1" obliterator, showing Crowned circle "paid/at/trinidad" over-cancelled by oval-framed "pd" alongside London Paid c.d.s. (13.7), manuscript "7" and Calais c.d.s. (14.7), the reverse with Trinidad and Paris (14.7) c.d.s. A neat and attractive franking. S.G. 40a Estimate US$ 3,000-3,500provenance: J.
