Moore. 61st Foot.), heavy contact marks, edge bruising, fine Estimate £ 280-320Captain Thomas Maitland Moore, commisioned Ensign 61st Foot, 1847; served in the Punjab 1848-49, including with the field force in pursuit of the enemy to the Khyber Pass (March 1849); served in the Expedition to Kohat against the Affredie Tribe (10-13.2.1850); Captain 1857; served in the Indian Mutiny 1857-58 and was wounded (14.9.1857) in the assault on Delhi (entitled to Medal and Delhi clasp); present at the action of Nujjufghur.
