Naval General Service 1793-1840, one clasp, Syria (John Hardy), edge bruise, otherwise extremely fine Estimate £ 400-450John Hardy served as Ordinary Seaman in H.M.S. Powerful during the operations on and off the coast of Syria, 1840. Two other John Hardys appear on the Admiralty roll, the first entitled to Anholt 27 March 1811 clasp; the other to Guadaloupe clasp.
