A Group of Sweetheart Brooches and other items of Royal Navy interest A fine and unusual badge of the Royal Naval Division, in the form of a horizontal anchor mounted with a crown, the reverse stamped 9 Ct. GOLD, the circlet of the crown inscribed RND; a silver brooch of the Royal Naval Air Service (HM B´ham 1915), the Eagle beneath a naval crown, with initials RNAS below on blue enamel; a yellow metal brooch with initials RNAS above the Eagle, a propeller suspended by small chain from the eagle´s talons; a small and fine white metal brooch of the Fleet Air Arm, in the form of a QEC above an anchor within a wreath, between wings set with marquisites; and another brooch, of similar style, with KC above anchor on a blue ground, between white enamelled wings; and a Fleet Air Arm officer´s gilt eagle sleeve badge, the eagle facing to left, good very fine or better (6) Estimate £ 100-150See Illustration
