Russia, Order of St. Vladimir, Fourth Class, with swords, 35mm, bronze-gilt and enamel, with bronze/brass ´K´ mark and maker´s mark on reverse, enamel damage, therfore very fine Russia, Order of St. Anne, Third Class, 36mm, bronze-gilt and enamel, with bronze/brass ´K´ mark and maker´s mark on reverse, enamel damage to reverse, otherwise very fine Russia, Russo-Japanese War Medal 1904-05 (2), suspension missing on one medal, otherwise good very fine (4) Estimate £ 250-280With the advent of the Bolshevick revolution in Russia, the manufacture of Orders was severely disrupted. From 1915 the majority ceased to be made in silver, and instead bronze or brass was used as the base metal. These examples are marked with a cyrillic K instead of the usual kokoshnik mark for silver items.
