VINCENT Early Letter 1772 (13 Oct.) four page letter written by Robert Barrie at Queen´s Valley (above Buccament), to his wife Dolly in Florida, the contents include "the letter is being sent by a Gentleman to Kingstown....who promises to send it by the first vessel that sails, either for Carolina or Georgia". The letter bears no postal markings and was probably delivered all the way through private channels. A very early letter Estimate £ 200-250
