1861-70 Great Britain inbound correspondence to Bolivia, collection of eight entire folded letters showing various usages and rates from Great Britain to Bolivia, mostly a correspondence to J.M Artola & Co. at Cobija, starts as early as an 1861 cover with right wing margin horizontal pair of the 1856 1/- Green (#28) paying the 2/- rate, includes covers from about this period sent due including one with 1p Red for internal Great Britain postage and another without stamps, both marked 4/- in manuscript, other covers have later 1865 1/- Green franking of plate 4 (#48) including single rates and a double rate with a strip of four of the 1/- Green, concluding with two 1870 covers showing the rate change to 1/6 with 1/- Green and 6p Red violet frankings (#51, 54), all routed through Panama, usually receiving one of the various typed of British post office transits there and then with ""Cobija/C"" c.d.s. of the British post office in Bolivia except for the 1861 cover as the British Agency wasn´t established in Cobija until 1862, fine-very fine; Bolivia was a scarcer destination for even Great Britain as the Cobija British Agency was one of the least used British post offices; nice postal history lot of these scarce cov Estimate US$ 750-900
