1795 (20 Feb.) entire letter used locally in London (the addressee´s details a little faded), the interior being an official printed decree of discharge granted to a man imprisoned for the crime of ´Bastardy´, the reverse with very fine light strike of the exceedingly rare large black ´dew/blackmoor st.´ receiver´s handstamp (only in use for one year and the only such ´receiver´ to have his name incorporated in public advices relating to the 1794 Reforms).
