William and Mary, Halfcrown, 1689, off-centre mistrike, with part of reverse design showing the top of crown and date in off-centre portion, first, conjoined busts right, gvlielmvs.et.maria.dei.gratia, toothed border both sides, rev. inverted die axis, second crowned quartered shield of arms, with Lion of Nassau as an escutcheon with eight lozenges surrounding, seven strings to Irish harp, crown with no frosting or pearls, date either side, .mag.br.fr.et.hib.rex.et.regina., edge, upright, .+..+.decvs.et.tvtamen..anno.regni.primo (ESC 512; S.3435), nearly very fine and extremely unusual, the coin having been struck, perhaps flipped in the die and struck again to cause such an event Estimate £ 150-200
