Charles I, Scarborough besieged (1644-5), modern uniface copy of a Halfcrown, castle gateway, value punched in below (cf. N.2650; cf. S.3158) very fine Estimate £ 30-50A modern imitative copy of the Scarborough Halfcrown in the British Museum collection. The British Museum piece is made of a doubled sheet of silver, turned over at the edge, and engraved ´OBS Scarborough 1645´ on the reverse.
