xCharles I, Triple-unite, 27.10g., Oxford, 1642, on small module flan, crude ´Shrewsbury´ crowned half-length bust of king left, in armour, holding sword and olive branch, plume behind, reads MAG BRIT FR ET HIB, rev. declaration RELIG.PROT.LEG ANG.LIBER.PAR in two wavy lines, value and three plumes above, date below, m.m. Oxford plume on obverse only (B-J dies I/S1; (Schneider 284 (same dies); N.2381; S.2724), small edge knock at 1 o´clock, faint scratches in reverse field, a well struck example of this scarce early type, very fine or better, very rare Estimate £ 8,000-10,000
