Royal Bank of Scotland, 1 guinea, Edinburgh, 1 May 1827, serial number 303/628, black and white, Britannia, lion and river God top centre, crown above, value at centre, "Pay to Andrew Bogle" in text, two manuscript signatures low centre, rev. black and white, arms, allegorical figure at left and right (Douglas 25), very good, the serial numbers and signatures have been over written to make them bolder.
