Leith Banking Company, £20, 1 October 1824, serial number 18/257, black and white, ships and Leith harbour in oval frame top centre, bank title in vertical panel at left, pay to ´James Tod´ in text at centre, three manuscript signatures low right (Douglas 4 var), embossed duty stamp at centre, trimmed otherwise a fresh fine and very rare, only three examples believed extant.
