x HONG KONG Treaty Ports Ningpo 1878 ( 27 July) "Brealey" mourning envelope to Somerset, marked "Per French Mail", bearing 1863-71 2c. pale yellowish brown pair with 8c. pale dull orange cancelled by "N1" barred oval overstruck by heavy Shanghai "S1" in black and showing a faint strike of the Ningpo type B despatch c.d.s. at left, the reverse with Shanghai, Hong Kong and Wellington arrival c.d.s.; small part of flap missing.
