x HONG KONG 1871 (11 Jan.) envelope from Hong Kong to Shelly Davis in London, marked "Via Brindisi", bearing bearing 4c. slate, 24c. pale green (defective) and 48c. rose-carmine (blunt corner) cancelled by "B62" obliterators, showing red manuscript "3/2" and London arrival d.s. (15.2) with despatch c.d.s. on the reverse. An unusual and colourful three-colour franking, sent during the Franco-Prussian War, illustrating the double 38c. rate which was reduced to 30c. on 16 January
