x HONG KONG Issued Stamps 1863-71 Watermark Crown CC 6c. lilac, 8c. orange and 24c. green (tear) well tied by "B62" in black on 1870 (15 Nov.) envelope to London, marked "Viâ Brindisi", showing "1/7" rate mark in red ink and London Paid arrival alongside with the despatch c.d.s. on the reverse; some ageing and the adhesives with a few additional imperfections. A good example of the rare experimental 38c. rate which was introduced because of the Franco-Prussian War. B.P.A.Certificate (1998)
