xGREAT BRITAIN 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1b JJ, a very fine example used on 1840 (8 Aug.) entire (no side flaps) from Uckfield to East Grinstead, then forwarded to Brighton with another marginal Plate 1b showing "e Addrefs and tow" part inscription, superbly cancelled and showing circular undated "hailsham" at left and red "east grinstead" datestamp below.
