xBurma 1865 (Dec.) entire to Bremen, marked "p. Cheduba & via France", bearing 1856 8a. pair and 1864 4a. sharing firm's cachet and each clearly cancelled "B/156", showing a superb strike of the very rare "rangoo/post office/p.d" double-circle in red, framed "pd" and, on reverse, "pd/calcutta" d.s. Beautiful and one of the great rarities of Burma Estimate £ 800-1,000 Note: The Rangoon P.D. handstamp has only been seen on mail, via France, to places in Europe. Only about five examples are believed to exist of which this is unquestionably the finest.
