xCROWNED CIRCLE HANDSTAMPS Guadeloupe 1865 (10 Jan.) entire to Philadelphia, marked "per mail via Havana", rated "2/-", bearing French Colonies 1859-65 imperf. 10c. and 40c. block of four and two singles (all roughly separated), showing good to fine "paid/at/guadeloupe" in red overstruck by handstruck "20", "pointe-a-pitre/guadeloupe" c.d.s. and, on reverse, red Guadeloupe double-arc d.s. overstruck by Boston c.d.s. and St. Thomas transit d.s.
