xGREAT BRITAIN 1840 One Penny Black Plate VIII JA-JB/KA-KB, State 1 block of four with good margins, tied by red Maltese Cross cancellations on 1840 (15 Dec.) entire from Trowbridge to Salisbury and showing, on reverse, despatch and arrival datestamps in blue; JA with apparent thin, some staining removed and filing creases well clear of adhesives.
