Barbados 1768 (25 Aug.) entire (damaged and heavily repaired) to London, rated "7" and "1/6", showing light Inspector´s Crown h.s. and, on reverse, "barba/does" h.s.; 1807 (19 June) entire (faults) to London, rated "4/-", showing good straight-line "barbadoes" overstruck by handstruck "2" applied for forwarding locally; 1834 (10 May) entire letter (adhesive tape stains along folds) headed "H.M.S. Vestal" addressed to Suffolk, rated 1/6" (deleted) and "1/7", showing step-type "bristol/ship-letter", the contents include details of a Court Martial held on board for "Lieut. Baggott of H.M.S. Pickle for causing the death of a marine by discharging a cannonade without giving the man time to get out of the way"; also a small engraved print entitled "Un Anglais vend sa maitresse a la Barbade" Estimate £ 80-100
