Italian Colonies Post Offices in the Turkish Empire constantinople: 1908 mint and used study including 1st. printing 10pa. on 5c. and 30pa. on 15c. mint, 20pa. on 10c. used; 1st and 2nd. printing 1pi. on 5c. used together on small piece, both with some very lightly foxed perfs; 2nd. printing 30pa. on 15c. (2) with surcharge double, 1pi. on 25c. mint pair with one showing variety "1 pipstra", another pair with showing "1" inserted by hand and a block of four with one showing variety "1" omitted, 2pi. on 50c. mint pairs (2) and a used single showing "2" and "piastre" spaced and 4pi. on 1 lire mint with a few short perfs; 3rd. printing with 30pa. on 15c. vertical strip of three with surcharge misplaced downwards and a single with "30" omitted, 4pi. on 1 lire mint pair with one showing "s" inverted and 20pi. on 5 lire used block of four; and 4th printing 20pi. on 5 lire mint block of four; condition generally fine to very fine.
