Italian Colonies Eritrea 1895 (Sept.?) stampless envelope (part flap missing) to "Filippo Campanella, fermo in posta, Milano", showing a fine strike of the extremely rare straight-line "archico" h.s. (Bianchi RR) with faint Massaua squared-circle d.s. alongside, backstamped by arrival c.d.s.; the envelope is annotated "Per la franchiggia postale Capitano Campanella". One of the great rarities of Eritrean and Italian Colonial postal history.
