x Boule de Moulins 1871 (Jan 5)-1882 (April 18): Extraordinary entire letter from Pornic to Paris, stamps floated off when the Boule was recovered from the Seine at Choisy Le Roi on April 18, 1882. Cover was then forwarded on to a Mr. Dolot in Official Cover with italic "Directeur des Postes de Paris" in red on front and complete original enclosure from the Minister of Posts & Telegraphs detailing the finding of the original Boule. Outstanding trio and extremely rare. Ceres unlisted, one recorded by Yvert (ex Dubus), this being the only other "trio" known. Photo Estimate £ 5,000-6,000
