x 1853-60 Napoleon III, Imperforate 40c. orange tied by "ceca" lozenge on 1861 (Aug. 13) underpaid cover to Paris, showing "corps. exp. chine/bau. a" datestamp at left. The Military tariff at this date was 20c., however the cover was seemingly not endorsed or recognised and was charged 5 decimes due on receipt in Marseille (Sept 26). Brun certificate (1961).
