Henry VI, Groats (2), London, leaf-trefoil coinage, (i) 3.65g., crosses IIIb/V, no leaf on breast, leaves after HENRIC, DI and GRA, trefoil after REX, leaf before LON, trefoil after DON, mascle before TAS, (Whitton 26d; S.1898; N.1486); (ii) 3.75g., second example, similar to last, (Whitton 26d) both on slightly irregular flans, lightly scratched, otherwise almost very fine, the first with mascle before TAS (2) Estimate £ 120-150PROVENANCE: (i) F E Walters, Sotheby´s, 26 May 1913, lot 355.
