Henry VI, Pennies (3), York, rosette-mascle coinage, variety B with saltires by hair, (i) 1.03g., mascle after REX (?) and before TAS, rev. reads EBD/RACI, (Whitton 2a; S.1867; N.1451(ii)); (ii) 0.71g., similar to last; (iii) 0.78g., as before but appears to read EBD, the first almost very fine, scarce, the second slightly chipped good fine, the third fair, all rare (3) Estimate £ 50-60The second coin in this lot has the same error reading EBD/RACI, as the second coin in the previous lot. They appear to be struck very similar but different reverse dies.
