An Officer´s Uniforms of the 3rd Carabiniers, and other items A blue forage cap with yellow cloth band and yellow piping in crown seam, the peak edged with with gold embroidery, black patent leather chinstrap (badge missing); a khaki Service Dress cap (also lacking badge), a gold laced regimental pouchbelt with ornate white metal buckle, tip and slide, together with a silver-flapped pouch (HM B´ham 1860) bearing VR cypher (minor repair to cypher); a Sam Browne belt of distinctive regimental pattern, of brown pigskin, and shoulder-brace with brass spring-clip fastening; a No.1 Dress jacket with steel shoulder-chains and anodised buttons (collar-badges missing); a blue mess jacket with yellow cloth collar and cuffs, both edged with gold oakleaf lace, embroidered collar-badges, and twisted chain-gimp shoulder-cords bearing Captain´s embroidered rank-badges; companion scarlet waistcoat with bib front, the false opening edged with gold French braid; blue overalls with double white cloth stripes, a khaki Service Dress tunic with anodised buttons and rank-badges, complete with its metal collar-badges; companion khaki trousers; an issue blue beret, with embroidered badge on yellow backing; together with an officer´s blue cloak of the Hampshire Carabiniers, with white cloth collar and Captain´s badges of rank in silver embroidery (most buttons missing); an officer´s white mess-waistcoat of the Loyal Regiment, edged with a triple row of gold and black Russia braid, the pockets edged with massive crows foot ornaments; and an officer´s khaki whipcord tent-cap of the Danish Garde Hussar regiment, trimmed with crimped beige lace and Russia braid, a national cockade in front in scarlet cloth and white metal (lot) See illustration of pouch belt on Page 15 Estimate £ 300-500
