Hair, S.A. Lt. Horse.), lugs from top clasp removed; King´s South Africa 1901-02, two clasps (Cpt. & Py. Mr. R.K. Hair. S.A.L.H.); Natal 1906, with clasp (Lt. R.K. Hair, Lancs. & Yorks. Contg.), the last correctly engraved in running script to officers only, good very fine or better and rare, mounted cavalry style (3) Estimate £ 450-500Captain R.K. Hair, was present at the action of Colenso; operations in Natal (March to June 1900); actions at Belfast (26.8-27.8.1900) and Lydenberg (5.9-8.9.1900).
