(83cm) slightly-curved fullered blade, double-edged for last 6 in., stamped with j & r mole, WD mark and crown above B/13, brass guard as for 1822 Pattern infantry, with partially-incised vr cypher in the cartouche, the grip and back-strap formed as a single brass casting, in its black leather scabbard with brass mounts.
