Hong Kong Treaty Ports Shanghai 1866 (12 June) large envelope addressed to Paris (slightly reduced at right bearing 1863-72 6c. lilac (2) and 30c. vermilion (6) tied by "B62" in black with "8/-" rate mark in red crayon, unframed "P.P." and boxed "PD" and Marseilles transit alongside, the reverse with Shanghai despatch c.d.s. in blue, Hong Kong transit and a fine strike of the large oval "forwarded by/glover &co/shanghae" (not listed by Rowe). There is some slight soiling as to be expected from such a large letter. A remarkable franking of $1.92 for a three ounce letter (twelve times franking). Photo Estimate HK$ 25,000-30,000
