Hong Kong Treaty Ports Hankow 1881 (19 Mar.) envelope addressed to Rome bearing 1880 10c. mauve tied by a neat, double strike of the "D.29" barred oval in black with the type B despatch c.d.s., code "A" alongside, with backstamps of Shanghai , Hong Kong, Naples and Rome. An extremely fine and attractive cover and the earliest example of only five covers recorded without the additional "S1" obliterator. A rarity.
