EA, good to enormous margins (good portion of adjoining stamp at right), on neat envelope to the Rev. Parkinson, Canon of Manchester, then re-addressed to Whitehaven, tied by very fine strike of the red Maltese Cross, the reverse with very fine red London despatch c.d.s. of 17 June 1840 and red Manchester c.d.s. of 18 June, black wax ´house of commons´ seal adjacent, the address panel with ink manuscript ´2´ redirection rate; fine and extremely attractive.
