x 1854 envelope with beautiful engraved view of St. Mary´s Church, Nottingham, addressed to near Philadelphia, bearing 1847-54 Embossed 6d. pair, cut-to-shape and cut-into, indistinct black numeral cancellations, obverse showing American arrival and charge marks, the reverse with Leicester and Liverpool datestamps of 1 and 2 May 1854; some minor faults and creasing though still fine and most attractive.
