Great Britain 1838 (27 Oct.) entire letter from Brighton to New South Wales, the address panel with superb strike of the very rare red ´t p/s´ with circular ´g.p/paid´ alongside, oval Paid Ship Letter London d.s. and manuscript ´Paid 10´ at left, the reverse with London and Sydney datestamps; very fine, clean and attractive. Note: The first marking was applied to letters transferred from the Twopenny Post to the Ship Letter Office. A wonderful exhibition piece. Photo Estimate £ 700-800
