x Great Britain Postal History 1817 printed Post Office advisory note headed "general post office, 1817" with manuscript date "25 Sept." added, the text reads "The enclosed Letter not having been delivered for the Reason assigned thereon, was opened here……… and is now returned to you, as the Writer, on Payment of the Postage" and shows the imprint of Francis Freeling; light creases not detracting. Folded for display, fine, clean and most attractive. Also Postal Fiscal 1860-67 1d. on 1893 mourning envelope (small faults) from London to Stratford Estimate £ 50-60
