Crime and Punishment Crimes Murder 1911 ´The Clapham Common Murderer´, an unused photographic-type postcard showing an enlarged fingerprint, the address side with blue ink manuscript ´Finger prints of Steiner Morrison the Clapham Common Murderer´, accompanied by a photocopy of the original court record sheet for the trial which identifies the accused as ´Stinie´ Morrison, a baker aged 29, and details his punishment – found guilty of murder and sentenced to death but this was then commuted to Penal Servitude ´for life´ (he died in prison on 24th January 1921).
