French Colonies French Southern and Antarctic Territories 1956-97 (c.), a very large collection neatly written-up and housed in four volumes plus loose, contained in two cartons, including a good range of first day covers including 1963 International Year of the Quiet Sun, signed Pierre Béquet, 1965 I.T.U. 30Fr., 1968 Dumont D´Urville 30Fr., also two unmounted mint stamps, and 20Fr. black-browed albatross; and a large quantity of covers with unusual expedition and ship cachets including paquebot and helicopter, etc., many of which are signed. Also a selection of ephemera and a volume of general Antarctica covers and stamps with International Geophysical Year. Generally very fine with viewing essential. (many hundreds).
