x Egypt 1874-75 1879 (6 Jan.) envelope addressed to Paris bearing 1pi, red tied by Cairo despatch c.d.s. with a second strike alongside and Paris arrival on reverse; also another cover from the same correspondence sent in February bearing the same franking, this time the adhesive has not been accepted and marked in ink "- o - - s -" along two sides with "T" in inverted triangle and handstruck "5". Fine and a good pair of covers showing acceptance and non-acceptance of the old stamps after the introduction of the overprinted stamps. (2 covers)
